(1) To implement policies, plans and standards related to land use, there will be a Federal Land Use Council at the federal level as follows:-
(a) Santri/Ministry of State, Ministry of the Government of Nepal dealing with land management issues - Chairman (b) Member, National Planning Commission (dealing with land management issues) - Member (c) Secretary, Ministry of the Government of Nepal dealing with land management issues - Member (d) ) - Secretary, Ministry of Finance - Member (e) Secretary, Ministry of Forest and Environment - Member (f) Secretary, Ministry of Federal Affairs - Member (g) Secretary, Urban The Ministry of the Government of Nepal that deals with development issues "Member (h) Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development - Member (h) Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply - Member (h) Four people including at least two women nominated by the Government of Nepal from among experts on land use - Member (k) Joint Secretary, Ministry of the Government of Nepal dealing with matters related to land management - Member-Secretary
(2) The term of office of a nominated member in accordance with clause (j) of sub-section (1) shall be three years and if he does not fulfill his official duties satisfactorily, if he does any work against the interest of the Federal Land Use Council, if he lacks efficiency or misbehavior, the Government of Nepal may remove such member from office at any time. . However, before removing a member from office, he should be given a reasonable opportunity to submit his explanation.
(3) The council under sub-section (1) may invite any stakeholder or expert to the meeting of the council if it deems it necessary.
(4) Provisions relating to the service and conditions of the members designated in accordance with clause (h) of sub-section (1) shall be as prescribed. (5) The procedure for the meeting of the Federal Land Use Council shall be as determined by the Council itself.
